"I deeply respect the healing wisdom within each of us. I believe that psychotherapy is a holistic process in which healing happens from the inside out. Each person's healing path is unique. I know it takes courage to reach out and invite a therapist to walk with you on that path, but taking the risk can be truly amazing and transformational."

We are very selective in the staff that we bring into the Renew group practice. All clinicians have a trauma-focused approach and years of training in trauma-informed interventions and techniques.

"I take a trauma-informed, compassionate approach while addressing the issues and dynamics of my clients head on. I enjoy working with families, adults, kids, adolescents and couples. "
Jodi's practice focuses primarily on treating the underlying trauma that is often the cause of so many mental and physical struggles. She is trained in various trauma treatments, including EMDR, Expressive Therapies, CBT, DBT, PCIT and Motivational Interviewing. Jodi recently completed the 12-month certification program in Trauma Treatment developed by Bessel Van Der Kolk. She has experience treating dual-diagnosis clients struggling with an addiction-treatment community that often does not address their trauma. With over 20 years of experience in private practice and community mental health settings, Jodi has worked with children, adolescents and adults, treating most diagnoses. She also serves as a clinical supervisor for new therapists and provides support and therapy to other therapists.
"I know that the mind-body trauma connection is real. I often have clients who report being stuck but cannot seem to move beyond this realization. I have helped many learn more about how trauma can impact us emotionally, physically and spiritually. Therapy is about movement and growing beyond where we are today and in this this world."
Jeff provides individual therapy for adult clients dealing with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, compulsive behaviors and trauma, including complex trauma. He began his career as a therapist at Wellstone Regional Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where he worked with a variety of patients from pre-teens to elderly adults. Jeff moved into outpatient care at Seven Counties Services (Now known as Centerstone), where he worked as a therapist and clinical manager at the agency's adult clinic in Louisville's West End. Jeff is trained in several research-supported treatment models including: CBT, DBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and EEG Biofeedback. He does not hesitate to refer clients to other therapists when his skills set does not match their personal needs. Before becoming a therapist, Jeff enjoyed a successful 23-year career as a technology writer and Internet publishing entrepreneur.
"I am passionate about helping clients receive treatment that fits their individual needs, backgrounds and values. And I welcome clients who feel that previous treatment or recovery experiences tried to force inappropriate labels or methods upon them."
