Supervision & Professional Growth

Jodi Bessinger, MA, LPAT, LPCC

Jodi Bessinger, MA, LPAT, LPCC offers individual and group supervision to Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors and Licensed Professional Art Therapists.  Her supervision focuses on Kentucky licensure regulations, styles of supervision, following ethical decisions as well as clinical practice and intervention.  Jodi also focuses on what it means to be a counselor and/or art therapist and provides assistance in exploring career paths and professional identify in both areas.  Jodi has extensive training in trauma work and uses EMDR, DBT, and Art Therapy to help her clients overcome traumatic experiences.  She is currently enrolled in the JRI program for Certification in Traumatic Stress Studies training program.  Jodi is also certified in Reality Therapy


Jodi has over 24 years of experience as an Art Therapist and Professional Counselor.  She started her career working as an foster care therapist in Chicago, Illinois and has worked in community counseling ever since.
