Mathew Warvin, LPCC
I take a person-centered approach to my work as a therapist. I prefer meeting clients where they are and understanding that each individual has his/her own need for establishing a positive counseling relationship.
When working with clients, I use a diverse range of methods, including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and a Strengths-Based Approach. My background is working with adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, those struggling in relationships and life transitions, individuals on the autism spectrum, and persons with disabilities. As a former service member, I am also passionate about working with Veterans. My objective as a therapist is to create a trusting space where you feel heard and seen as the person you are, and your life goals are of the utmost importance to me.
