Lizzy is currently pursuing her M. Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisville. Lizzy takes a person-centered approach to counseling, promoting a healing relationship between client and counselor based on nonjudgmental reflection, authentic connection, and empathic understanding. Blending modalities based on the client's needs, Lizzy helps clients develop coping skills, deal with life's challenges, define values and goals, and seek greater satisfaction in their lives. Her modalities include solutions-focused, cognitive behavioral, existential, narrative, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapies as indicated.
