As a therapist-in-training, I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I am currently completing my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisville, building on a strong foundation that began with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a concentration on Mental Health.
My background includes years of emergency and critical care medicine, supporting patients and families through medical crises–– spaces where high-stakes decisions and raw human vulnerability often intersect.

Outside of medicine, my work has included crisis intervention and response for first responders and fellow medical professionals. These experiences, along with my training in trauma-informed care, have shaped how I show up for clients; with steadiness, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s capacity to endure and adapt. Whether stabilizing critically ill children in emergency settings or supporting individuals and families during moments of profound vulnerability, I’ve learned that sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is simply our presence.

In therapy, I primarily draw from Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches, while also incorporating psychodynamic insights when exploring deeper patterns and emotional undercurrents. My goal is to help clients feel grounded and empowered as they navigate anxiety, relationship issues, identity exploration, and trauma recovery. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals who carry heavy emotional loads; those who often feel the pressure to be strong for others while quietly struggling themselves.

My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can unpack what’s heavy, rediscover your voice, and begin to heal on your own terms. You don’t have to go through it alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
