Therapists

The ability to combine a healing medium that is useful when words are hard or not enough with therapy allows me to further help others create a wholeness
in themselves.

Hunter Pressley Blencowe

STUDENT INTERN

My name is Hunter Blencowe, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and Human Development with a focus on Creative Arts Therapies from Eckerd College. I have facilitated group and individual art therapy at Creative Clay (which is an open studio) and the Haven of RCS Pinellas (a domestic violence shelter) both in St. Petersburg, FL. I enjoy working with clients struggling with learning disabilities, trauma, and personality disorders. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Louisville going for my Masters in Art Therapy.  I have had a love for creation through art my whole life and believe in the healing powers art gives us. The ability to combine a healing medium that is useful when words are hard or not enough with therapy allows me to further help others create a wholeness in themselves. I am drawn to the field of therapy because I like helping people live their life to the fullest and tackle anything from serious trauma to the mundane overwhelmingness of day to day activities that we all struggle with. Therapy is the realm that helps with every part of our beings.
