Wendy Wright, LPCC-S
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 15 years of clinical experience in a community mental health setting. I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families. My current practice focuses on assisting clients to work through trauma, grief, mood related disorders, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional behaviors and anger issues.
I am trained in Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and frequently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Techniques (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Techniques (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
I enjoy helping people find their path to feeling better, to learn to live in the moment and enjoy life. I am especially drawn to those who have experienced upsetting life changing events to find their way to thriving. I value the importance of building empowerment, strength, and resiliency to handle life’s toughest moments. Life is serious enough without the experiences from our past distracting us from living our best life.
